Life with Dogs

I’m thrilled to share the launching of my “Life with Dogs” online video training course! Whether you’re far along on the journey of dog ownership or just taking your first step, this foundation series is designed to give owners everywhere a comprehensive overview of life with dogs.

We’ll start with key concepts that we’ll rely on with new challenges: understanding canine and human communication, curating safe coexistence in the home, building a foundation for mental health through resilience, stepping into the adventures of the outside world, and maintaining a grounded perspective on expectations of both yourself and your dog. Building on this conceptual framework, we’ll discuss simple strategies for some of the most common training topics: housetraining, building focus, loose leash walking, shaping performative cues, and how to approach behavior modification when unwanted habits pop up.

I’m so excited for you to join me in this video series and hope you find it helpful as you grow
together with your dog. One of my favorite parts of this project is providing a venue to support different organizations across the world doing amazing things for dogs in need. Each month, I’ll be partnering with a different organization to provide this video series to any dogs adopted from that rescue group and a percentage of sales for this series will be donated to assist in supporting their operations as well.

Follow along on
Instagram to learn about the partner organization each month. And if you or someone you know is involved with an organization that could benefit, email me at michael@michaelhilldogtraining.com to sign up!
